Dandelion was traditionally used in many systems of medicine to support digestive and gastrointestinal health.* Dandelion leaf is rich in potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and vitamin A and C. Balancing to both pitta and kapha dosha. The leaves have been known to have an affinity to the urinary system, and assist in the eliminate excess water, metabolic wastes, and have been used to treat infections of the kidneys and bladder. Both the root and leaves have been used to clear excess heat and toxins from the liver and blood. Dandelion leaf is an ingredient of our Bhakti Cleanse tea.
