Ear Candling is soothing holistic way of treating minor earaches and other common issues related to the ears and sinuses. Heat, herbal smoke, and the cylinder shape of the candle work simultaneously to loosen impacted earwax, as well as cleanse and stimulate the respiratory system. This natural, non-intrusive procedure may help alleviate the painful effects of chronic headaches or sinus conditions, ear infections, allergies or vertigo, as well as minor hearing loss due to excessive earwax build up. To encourage the body’s natural process, this treatment includes ear oil application and a short session of Lymphatic Drainage.
Each person’s body is different and each case should be treated as such. Depending on each person, some may candle weekly, monthly, seasonally, or yearly. Those whose bodies create more wax build up may want to have ear candling done more often. Some may choose to candle seasonally for detoxing and allergies, or through the winter months when colds and congestion are high. Chronic conditions may require up to three sessions to finishing the cleansing process, and should be spaced 7-10 days apart.
